Mixed martial arts runs on a card structure rather than a season: numbered pay-per-view events several times a year, Fight Nights in between, and a running order that starts with prelims hours before the main event walks. Start times drift constantly, because a card moves as fast or as slow as the finishes allow.
Pay-per-view, and why timings slip
The biggest events sit behind a one-off purchase on top of a subscription, which is unusual among sports and a large part of why people look for another route. It is also why a fixed start time is unreliable: three quick finishes and the main event arrives forty minutes early.
One promotion controls the whole sport
Unlike boxing, mixed martial arts at the top level runs through a single organisation that owns the rankings, books the matchups and sets the calendar. That centralisation is why the fights people want generally do get made, and why a champion defends against the top contender rather than the most marketable opponent — the promotion has no rival to lose them to.
How a card is actually built
Numbered events carry a five-fight main card behind a pay-per-view wall, with prelims and early prelims stacked underneath on lesser platforms. Fight Nights drop the pay-per-view entirely. The main event is usually a title fight or a rankings-mover, the co-main is the safety net if the headliner falls through, and the early prelims are where debuting fighters are tested.
Weight classes and why fighters move between them
Eight men's divisions and four women's run from strawweight to heavyweight, and the gaps between them are small enough that fighters routinely move up or down chasing a title. A champion holding belts in two divisions at once is the sport's rarest achievement and the thing most likely to sell out an arena.
Fight week, weigh-ins and late changes
The week before an event has its own rhythm — media day, ceremonial weigh-ins, and the official weigh-in where fighters occasionally miss the limit and forfeit part of their purse. Late withdrawals are common enough that a card announced in January rarely looks identical in March, so the schedule above is the version that is actually happening.
Whatever is on is listed above, free and in HD, with more than one link per fixture so a source that gives out costs you a click rather than the game. Not what you came for? Sportnoch also covers boxing, WWE and MotoGP.

Are prelims included or just the main card?
Prelims are listed as well as the main card, since they often run for hours before the headline fight and are where the card's timing is decided.
What time does the main event actually start?
It depends on the finishes below it. A card full of quick stoppages pulls the main event forward; a run of decisions pushes it back, sometimes by the better part of an hour.
